VISION
To reduce cash dependency among households through the use of community sustainable agriculture principles.
OUR COMMUNITY
Tamana Agri-Gates is a 149 acre parcel of land situated on an aged and organic cocoa estate located in Tamana, in the Island of Trinidad (Kairi) in the Caribbean.
Members own 1 to 4 acre parcels upon which mixed crops and plants are grown organically.
Members are motivated to construct one liveable structure (per acre) with modern amenities within 3 years of purchase.
Members can be skilled farmers, learn as they go farmers or contract a local farmer to care for their garden.
Our Community development plan includes green space, a commercial centre, recreational facilities and an office/ educational/ IT centre. Check out the Tamana Agro Estate development plan to see what is happening in the extended community.
